Royal Enfield Himalayan now available in Delhi for Rs. 1,73, 676 (on-road)
The Royal Enfield brand recently launched their new adventure touring motorcycle Himalayan across Indian states. However due to an NGT (National Green Tribunal) ban on sale of BS-3 and below motorcycles and scooters in New Delhi area the company could not sell the Himalayan in the capital. State Transport authorities have postoned the ban by one year which earlier was to take effect from April 1, 2016. Enfield launched the Himalayan in New Delhi on March 30, 2016 in two colour options—Granite and Snow. The bike is now available for bookings across all RE dealerships in New Delhi.
The Himalayan comes with a brand new LS 410 engine which has a cubic capacity of 411 and churns out 32Nm of torque. Rudratej Singh, President Royal Enfield, said, “We are delighted to announce the availability of our latest motorcycle - Himalayan, in New Delhi. The timing of the launch in Delhi could not have been better as all motorcycling enthusiasts in the region start frequenting the hills post Holi. Seasoned riders will appreciate the motorcycle’s purpose-built features and attributes in terrains that have inspired the Himalayan."
